The Films of the Marx Brothers
Sorry, but this page is still under construction. I plan to include brief descriptions and memorable bits from each film. Please visit the biographies page for some information about the Marx Brothers' films.

I've been asked a lot of questions recently about the availability of the Marx Bros. films. Here is what I know (November 16, 2000):
  1. Currently, all the films are available on VHS. They can be found at Amazon.com. If you don't like Internet shopping, you can sometimes find them at Suncoast.
  2. The early pictures (released by Paramount; with Zeppo) are available on DVD. They can also be found at Amazon.com and Suncoast. I found Animal Crackers and Duck Soup at Borders for about $10.
  3. The later pictures (released by MGM; without Zeppo) are occasionally run on Turner Classic Movies. They may be on other channels occasionally as well, but since Jan 1, 2000, I have seen them only on TCM.
